RBA: LITTLE BLUE HERON in Wardner - Sept 10-13th

At 12pm on Sept 10-2025, Daryl Calder found a juvenile Little Blue Heron along the shoreline of the Kootenay River in Wardner. The bird was first identified as a Great and Cattle Egret due to long distance views but photos obtained on Sept 11th by Helen Diakow et al. show it to be a Little Blue Heron.
