At 12:15 pm on July 27-2025, a Masked Booby was photographed from the cruise ship the Norwegian Bliss. The bird was flying NW along the cruise ship for a couple minutes before flying off. It was seen offshore by a couple on board between Winter Harbour and Raft Cove Provincial Park on the NW coast of Vancouver Island.
