At 11am on March 17-2026, Suzy Wright found a Whooper Swan in a corn stubble field off W Fraser Rd in Kersley south of Quesnel. The bird was with over 450 Trumpeters and 2 Tundra Swans.

The bird has not been relocated thus far, the swans have moved back from the road and a spotting scope is needed.
