At 11:30 am on March 24-2026, Nick Park and Conor Trahar found a Sagebrush Sparrow at ƛ̓éxətəm Regional Park in Coquitlam. The bird is frequenting the path between the duck pond and pumphouse off the Shaughnessy St entrance and is traveling by itself.
The bird continued at 12 pm and has been viewed by multiple observers.
The flew west at 12:15 pm and has not been relocated.
