RBA: BROWN THRASHER in Queen’s Bay - June 6-7th

On June 6-2026, Sachi Snively found a Brown Thrasher at his private home in Queen’s Bay. The bird was singing as well.

The home is not open to the public.

This is the 46th record for BC.

RBA: NORTHERN PARULA in Bamfield - June 5th

At 4:30pm on June 5-2026, Ian Cruickshank found a male Northern Parula singing in Oak Trees along Hull Rd. He photographed and made an audio recording of the bird.

RBA: DICKCISSEL in Castlegar - June 5-7th

At 6:30am on June 5-2026, Craig Sandvig found a male Dickcissel singing on hawthornes at Selkirk College Trails.

RBA: FERRUGINOUS HAWK in Argenta - June 1st

At 4:15pm on June 1-2026, Jakob Dulisse found a Ferruginous Hawk circling over Argenta for a few minutes before he lost it.
