At 7am on August 8, 2026, Ian Cruickshank found a Masked/Nazca Booby flying NW past Amphitrite Point in Ucluelet. He viewed the bird through a scope but due to distance could not rule out Nazca Booby.

At 7:40 am on July 30-2026, Simon Thompson and Mark Welford found a Murphy's Petrel offshore from Winter Harbour (south of Cape Scott), while aboard their cruise ship "The Royal Princess."

On July 27-2026, Sylvie Gareau found and photographed a Cocos Booby perched on rocks near Cordova Bay in Victoria. The observer does not want to share the exact location.
Birders may want to scope rocky areas between Cordova Bay and Ten Mile Point.

At 5:46 am on July 20-2026, Aubrey Parnay found a Sedge Wren in North Pine in the Peace River area of BC.
The bird was singing HERE on 256 Rd.

At 6:45 am on July 14-2026, Neill Vanhinsberg and Alison Curtis found an immature Black Phoebe at Jericho Park pond.
The bird quickly flew off.
