On November 23-2025, Ethan Gosnell found a male Tufted Duck moulting out of eclipse plumage at the outer pond at Iona Regional Park in Richmond.

The bird was also seen in the NW inner pond on Nov 24-Dec 9th
From Dec 11/2025-Feb 9/2026, the bird was in the main outer pond and in the scaup flock off the base of the causeway and also back in the NW inner pond.
On Feb 11-2026, Caroline Knox appears to have relocated the bird from Iona at the east end of Lost Lagoon HERE at Stanley Park.
