On November 23-2025, Ethan Gosnell found a male Tufted Duck moulting out of eclipse plumage at the outer pond at Iona Regional Park in Richmond.

On Nov 15-2025, Kelly Price found and photographed a male Painted Bunting. The bird was at the feeder in the yard of his sister’s private residence, in Williams Lake.
The bird continues at the feeder on Nov 18th.
**The home is NOT open to the public.**

At 11 am on Nov 11-2025, Kalum Srochenski found a male Black-throated Blue Warbler at his private home off Frontage Rd near Sykes Rd W in Prince George.
Birders are welcome to view the bird from the public street.

The bird was not relocated on Nov 12th.
The bird returned to the same location on Nov 17th and birders are welcome to come view it.

On Nov 10-2025, Thomas Rivest found a male Hooded Oriole feeding from the planters at Great Bear Lodge at the end of Smith inlet in BC's Central Coast. This lodge is NOT OPEN TO THE PUBLIC and CLOSED for the winter season.

At 10:15 am on Nov 10-2025, Thompson Hyggen found a Blue-gray Gnatcatcher at Finlayson Point and then at 11 am it moved 200m to the west off Dallas Rd, where it was viewed by multiple birders for at least 20 mins. It was loosely associating with a flock of bushtits.

At 9 am on Nov 6, 2025, Blair Dudeck and Aiva Noringseth found a Red-throated Pipit at the Cowichan Estuary in Cowichan Bay.

At 3:30pm on Nov 2-2025, Ian Cruickshank found a Hooded Oriole visiting a hummingbird feeder near the intersection of Wharf and Main Sts in Tofino. The feeder is visible from the public road.
Please be respectful of private property and homeowners when viewing this bird from the public road.
This is 30th record for BC.
The bird was seen in the same location on Nov 3rd and viewed by multiple observers. The bird was not seen between Nov 3 and Dec 6th.
On Dec 6-2025, Ian Cruickshank relocated the bird at the same feeder.
The bird continues in the same location as of Dec 17th and has been viewed by multiple observers.

On Oct 31-2025, Kathie and Ken Pritchard found an adult female White Wagtail of the lugens subspecies in the parking lot of Starbucks at the Town Centre Mall.

This appears to be the same bird from Richmond, BC. It wasn’t found in Richmond today and feather wear and plumage appears to be identical.
The bird continued in the same location and in the A & W parking lot HERE on Nov 4th.
It has not been relocated on Nov 5 or 6th.

At 11:39 am on October 30-2025, Kaiden Bosch found a Little Bunting in Roberts Creek. He watched the bird fly in calling and land on the pier ten feet in front of him, for one minute before it quickly flew off towards Gibsons.
He watched it fly high for at least 1 Km and lost it.

At 2:15 pm on October 30-2025, Carl Hughes found an adult female Rustic Bunting near Sandspit Airport in Haida Gwaii. The bird was foraging in a flock of Dark-eyed Juncos on the lawn 200m south of the airport terminal.
